Disney's Disney's Port Orleans Resort - French Quarter is the smaller and more compact of the two Port Orleans properties, themed to the French Quarter's Mardi Gras spirit — wrought-iron balconies, gas-lamp streets, and jazz-inflected common areas.
Its modest size (seven three-story buildings) makes it one of the easiest Disney resorts to walk end-to-end, and it shares Disney Springs boat transportation with Riverside via the shared Sassagoula River.
Doubloon Lagoon, the resort's feature pool, is guarded by a giant sea serpent slide — a smaller-scale but genuinely fun centerpiece compared to Riverside's Ol' Man Island.
